The market leader for stationary and mobile lactate measurement instruments, EKF-diagnostic GmbH hosts the yearly event of the Lactate Information Days during which new technologies and innovative products are presented. On 4-5 October product dealers, medics and interested parties gathered for the excellently organised and informative meeting. Part of the agenda was a show event of an OBLA Test presented by track-and-field athletes. During the test blood lactate values were measured at each load step with the LactateScout. In the following the analysis of the lactate performance curve with the Winlactate Software, a product of the mesics GmbH, was demonstrated.
