Welcome to the official Cyclus2 website

Get to know everything about the high performance ergometer Cyclus2! We introduce you to the special features of the Cyclus2 and its applications in performance diagnostics and ergometer training practice.

Cyclus2

Top reasons to get a Cyclus2

  • Highly accurate test- and training results using your own bike
  • Elastic suspension for heavy duty cycling including side-to-side movement
  • Non-slip transmission of high brake resistances
  • Breath-taking screen simulations of training courses
  • Simulation of all common professional cycling tournament patterns

Elastic suspension and a design featuring the use of the test person’s own bike make ergometry on the Cyclus2 a unique experience. Due to the high performance precision brake system, the user-friendly control unit and the possibility of using it with any individual racing bike the Cyclus2 offers the ideal combination of a test- and training-device for racing cyclists, triathletes, hand bikers for children, teenager and adults.

The performance diagnostics of racing cyclists of several ProTour teams has been successfully carried out with the Cyclus2 for years. World champions and Olympic champions practise with the Cyclus2. The high performance ergometer has been established as a professional standard in direct and indirect competition preparation for cycling and the triathlon over the last 15 years. Performance diagnostics professionals value the Cyclus2 as a highly reliable testing device for the Wingate Anaerobic Test. The mobile ergometer has also been on expedition and proved very valuable under extreme conditions in high mountain areas. A professional team of medical doctors used the Cyclus2 technology for ergometric measurements while carrying out scientific research into altitude sickness during the ascent of the Muztagh Ata Mountain (7456m). The ergometer was also part of the expedition equipment of another team of experts carrying out medical research during the ascent of the Aconcagua Mountain (6962m). The Cyclus2 has proved its qualities also under zero-gravity conditions. Scientists of the Institute of Sport Science and Sport of Erlangen investigated the effects of zero-gravity on the movement coordination within the scope of the 13th Parabolic Flight Mission of the DLR using the Cyclus2 as their test ergometer .
