The simulation of training- or tournament tracks is one of the outstanding features of the Cyclus2 ergometer. The latest state of the art hardware controls the brake force of the ergometer in such a realistic scenario that no difference to the real conditions on the road is detectable. That means for the racing cyclist that, depending on the velocity, weight and material, he has got to fight the
even during the indoor training. The parameters are precisely calculated by the Cyclus2 and then define the load. Changing gears can be carried out as usual. The hardware configuration of the Cyclus2 allows the switching between the gears of a preset gear change as well as the continuous switching for tests.
