The set of two identical shells is placed on the elastically mounted sleeve of the front leg. This means that bikes with an installation width of the front wheel fork of 110 mm can be inserted into the Cyclus2 and bolted to a through axle with a diameter of 15 mm.

Through axles 15x110 can be found on mountain bikes. This standard is also known as the Boost standard.
